BRADENTON, FL, October 17 – On Friday, October 7th Wagner Realty held their annual Golf Classic Fundraiser at Tara Golf & Country Club in Bradenton. Coming on the heels of the recent hurricane, it was unclear whether the event would even happen. Many in our local community suffered property damage, power outages, and dealt with the stress of mandatory evacuations. But it soon became apparent that getting together to thank the Bradenton Police Department for their hard work was just what our community needed.
The weather was perfect for more than 100 golfers to participate in 18 holes of scramble golf, raising more than $15K for The Bradenton Blue Foundation,that provides funds for specialty training, technology, safety equipment, community outreach...
